Pure grass, pure fun, no hassle, no tower, no pressure – 88C is the perfect place to learn tailwheel techniques. The 2800-foot-long by 200-foot-wide groomed grass runway offers ample space to practice your tailwheel skills.
88C is like stepping back to a much earlier time before the sounds of singing pistons, growling exhausts, and whirling propellers were driven away by screeching turbines mounted upon lifeless sterile metal tubes.
Located in Southeast Wisconsin’s Kettle Moraine Area so you can bring your mountain bike or hiking shoes and stay loose while not flying. Only a 2-hour drive from Chicago, 1 hour from Madison, 30 minutes from beautiful Lake Geneva, or 45 minutes from Milwaukee. You will find plenty to see and do in this picturesque and peaceful area!
